BTS’s V is currently serving in the military, but he still made sure that ARMYs will have something to listen to while he’s away!
On Monday, V’s label BigHit Music announced that the BTS member is set to release a new digital single titled “Fri(end)s,” on March 15.
According to the WeVerse announcement, “Fri(end)s,” is a love song in the Pop Soul R&B genre and delivers relatable, witty romance through lyrics written entirely in English.
The single came six months after the release of V’s debut solo album “Layover” in September 2023.
V, whose real name is Kim Taehyung, recently starred in IU’s comeback song “Love Wins All” where they navigated what seems to be a post-apocalyptic world.
V enlisted in the South Korean military in December along with fellow BTS members RM, Jungkook and Jimin.
BTS is expected to reconvene as a group in 2025.
