“Selos,” Shaira Moro’s viral hit, will be back on streaming platforms very soon.

In a video on Facebook. the Queen of Bangsamoro Pop shared her team had a peaceful negotiation with the camp of Australian singer-songwriter, Lenka, which led to the positive development.

Shaira also clarified, there were no cases be filed against her and her team for the initial mix-up.

“Sa katunayan, naging mahinahon at mapayapa ang pag-uusap namin ng kampo ni Lenka at nauwi ito sa pagkakaroon ng kasunduan hingil sa pamamaraan na muling paglabas ng kanta sa mga online streaming platforms,” Shaira said.

[In fact, our talks with Lenka’s camp were peaceful, which led to an understanding about releasing the song on online streaming platforms.]

“At ngayon nga, nais kong ihayag sa inyong lahat na malapit na po namin ibalik sa mga streaming platforms ang kantang ‘Selos’ kasabay na din po ng ibang kanta ng aming produksyon,” Shaira said.

[i would like to announce that we will soon put the song “Selong” back on streaming platforms, along side other songs from our production.]

As she expressed hope for the public to be happy about this news — this is a win for all Bangsamoro artists, Shaira said — the artist also thanked the fans’ never-ending support, her record label AHS Channel, as well as the behind-the-scenes and legal teams for the help.

She also gave a message to Lenka whom she called, “my idol.”

“I want to express my deepest gratitude to you and to your team for allowing me this opportunity. Thank you for the smoothest transaction that we had with your team. It was truly an honor to have been communicating with international companies such as yours,” she said.

Shaira added Lenka will always be one of the artists she will look up to and hopes they get to meet one day.

Selos,” the danceable viral hit, was temporarily removed from streaming platforms in March following issues of copyright infringement. Lenka said her team had already “taken legal action” against Shaira for using the melody of her song “Trouble is a Friend.”

AHS Channel confirmed the song’s melody indeed came from “Trouble is a Friend” and that they were working on making it an official cover.

Despite the issue, Shaira remained grateful for the popularity of “Selos” and the opportunities it has opened for her.
