Karylle says meeting 2016 ‘Encantadia” Sang”gres came after ‘all time lows for our team”
Karylle can’t help but express her joy at spending time with the Sang’gres of the 2016 “Encantadia” remake.
The original Sang’gre Alena met up with Gabbi Garcia, Sanya Lopez, and Glaiza De Castro, when they guested on the “It’s Showtime” premiere episode on GMA-7 on Saturday.
On Instagram, Karylle revealed the successful premiere came after low moments for their team.
“Some days are unexpectedly super special. I have been explaining to my closest friends just exactly how important Saturday was to us after a series of maybe… we could call ’em all-time lows for our team. But man, what a beautiful day Saturday was for all of us,” Karylle said.
For these reasons, Karylle said meeting the Sang’gres from the reboot was a significant moment. The photos she shared were captured by her mom, Divine Diva ZsaZsa Padilla.
“Sharing just one of the many special memories from my end…an Enka multiverse moment captured by none other than my #ZsaZsaZaturnnah. Haha. Talk about an out of this world combo! Love you mama!” Karylle said.
She called this most recent meet-up, as well as the one from 2023’s Magpasikat performance, “a beautiful reunion I never thought possible.”
“I guess it’s just impossible to limit possibilities at this point in time… what a great time to be alive,” Karylle said.
Karylle previously said she is looking forward to passing the brilyante to the new generation of Sang’gres.
“It’s Showtime” premiered on GMA-7 on Saturday with an epic opening number that also served as Vice Ganda’s birthday prod. It that lasted a good 30 minutes.
The episode had trending moments, which include Michelle Dee’s guesting on EXpecially for You, and Darren Espanto saying he didn’t have a girlfriend.
More Kapuso stars who guested on the show include Jillian Ward, Christian Bautista, and Nadine Samonte, among others.
“It’s Showtime” is also aired on GMA Network’s GTV.
