Sarah Lahbati and Richard Gutierrez threw separate birthday parties for their son Kai who just turned six.

Richard hosted a birthday party at the Bellevue Hotel in Alabang with a Minecraft-themed celebration. The actor’s family, including his parents Annabelle Rama and Eddie Gutierrez, and his sister Ruffa Gutierrez, were among the attendees.

On Instagram, Ruffa shared photos from the party taken by Nice Print Photo, and said “Kai has reached Level 6!”

“Always be a good boy and study hard, cutie Kai. Thank you for being a blessing to all of us,” Ruffa added.

Meanwhile, Sarah’s mom Esther Lahbati gave a sneak peek of their own celebration for Kai, also Minecraft-themed, on her social media.

“Happy birthday, our dearest Kai,” Esther wrote. “The most sweetest boy, loving, and handsome boy.”

“[Your] mama was so lucky to have you from day one na pinanganak ka sabi ko, ‘Wow!’” she added.

Last week, Sarah greeted her son on his birthday with a sweet Instagram post.

“I’m so lucky to be your mom, Kai,” Sarah said in her caption. “Your smile is the most contagious blessing in the world. No words can express how much I love you and Zion.”

Sarah was previously married to Richard Gutierrez. They have two kids, Kai and Zion.

Early this month, Sarah confirmed their separation.

The former couple unfollowed each other on Instagram in January, during which Sarah moved into a new home and said she and Richard “are okay.”
