TWICE member Jihyo and South Korean athlete Yun Sung Bin’s respective agencies have finally addressed the dating rumors surrounding the two celebrities.
In a statement, TWICE’s agency JYP Entertainment said “the news is difficult to confirm as it is [the artist’s] personal matter,”
According to Soompi, they have also asked for fans’ understanding.
Meanwhile, Sung Bin’s agency All That Sports also responded, “As he is no longer an active athlete, we do not manage his personal life. It is difficult to confirm.”
On March 25, a Korean media outlet reported that Jihyo and Sung Bin, who first met through an acquaintance, became close through their common interest in exercising. They have been dating for a year, it saud.
Jihyo debuted as a member and the leader of TWICE in 2015. Last year, Jihyo released her solo debut album “Killin’ Me Good.”
Meanwhile, Sung Bin is a former skeleton athlete who was the first Asian to win a gold medal in the sport at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. He is currently working as an entertainer running his own YouTube channel.
Both stars have recently appeared on the MBC variety program “Home Alone.”
