“Rewind” has marked another milestone!
The Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes-starrer has clinched the top spot in Netflix Philippines’ Top 10 movie list.
According to Star Cinema, “Rewind” also the streaming platform’s top movie in Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates. It was also in Netflix’s top 10 list in Canada, Hong Kong, Malta, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore.
“Walang hanggang pasasalamat at mahigpit na yakap sa lahat ng mga nanood at sumuporta!” Star Cinema wrote in a Facebook post.
“Rewind” began streaming on Netflix on March 25.
In January, the film became the Philippines’ highest-grossing film of all time. It also surpassed the previous record in domestic sales set by “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” starring Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards.
The film was part of the recent Metro Manila Film Festival and Manila International Film Festival in California.
“Rewind” marks DongYan’s return to the big screen since 2010’s “You to Me Are Everything.”
