Ashley Ortega says she’s enjoying her ‘single era’: ‘I’m content’

Ashley Ortega said she’s currently single and loving it.

In the latest episode of “Updated With Nelson Canlas,” the “Hears on Ice” star said she’s enjoying her “single era.”

“Feeling ko, hindi ko rin muna makikita ‘yung sarili ko in a relationship with someone,” she said in the podcast.

“Because I have so much on my plate right now,” she added. “I’m happy, I’m content.”

However, the Kapuso actress said she’s not closing any doors for love.

“Of course, I’m not closing my doors kapag may dumating na taong feeling ko may potential,” she said.

Ashley’s last relationship was with Lucena Mayor Mark Alcala. In the same podcast episode, she said that she has already moved on from the breakup, which happened last year.

“I recovered from the break up already, kasi last year kami naghiwalay, so ngayon, I’m confirming it to people. I think I’m ready to—it’s about time na rin,” she said.

Ashley starred in a Cinemalaya film, “As If It’s True,” with Khalil Ramos last year. The movie is available to stream on Netflix.

She is set to appear in “Pulang Araw” which stars Alden Richards, Sanya Lopez, Barbie Forteza, and David Licauco.
