R’Bonney Gabriel said she wants to join the entertainment industry.
In an interview with Nelson Canlas on “24 Oras,” Friday, the Miss Universe 2022 said that she wants to give acting a shot.
“Acting, I’m definitely very interested in. I’m up for the challenge. I recently just watched a movie with Anne Curtis-Smith and I thought that was really good. I’d love to work with her,” she said.
When asked what genre she wants to try, R’Bonney said, “I love action, and I just love rom-com. I love rom-com so much.”
R’Bonney also said that she’s still practicing her Tagalog skills.
“My dad didn’t speak too much Tagalog in the household. I heard it mostly at the family gatherings, with my titas, my titos, mostly. I said, ‘Dad why didn’t you teach me Tagalog?’” she said.
She continued, “It’s so hard to learn now. It’s much harder when you’re older. Hay naku! But nag-aaral ako.”
R’Bonney returned to the Philippines early this week and immediately experienced the brutal summer’s heat. “Y’all said it was hot but I’m not sure I packed right for this heat,” she said on Instagram.
It will be a longer stay for R’Bonney, as she has a number of modeling, hosting, and guesting commitments to attend to.
