MANILA, Philippines — A lone bettor in Quezon City won the P14.6-million jackpot of the Regular Lotto 6/42 on Saturday night, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said yesterday.

Melquiades Robles, PCSO general manager and vice chairman of the board, said the winner, who placed a bet at a lotto outlet in Diliman, guessed the winning combination 17-21-12-24-30-02 for the Regular Lotto 6/42 draw.

Seventy other bettors won P24,000 each as second prize for guessing five of the six-digit winning combination.

The Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law imposes a 20 percent tax on all lotto winnings above P10,000.

The Regular Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
