A two-year-old child was seriously injured by four dogs in Calbiga, Samar, according to a “24 Oras Weekend” report.
Initial investigation found that the child, whose sex was not identified in the report, had followed their mother who was on her way to work.
The child ended up in a pig sty, where four dogs were guarding the livestock and were off-leash.
The dogs attacked the child, who lost their left ear and a chunk of flesh on the right side of their body.
