The Blackwater Bossing defeated the TNT Tropang Giga, 87-76, on Saturday in the PBA Philippine Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum to notch its second straight win in the conference.
Blackwater pulled away in the final frame as it led by 20 points, 85-65, after a triple by RK Ilagan at the 5:03 mark, before eventually getting the victory.
At the end of the first half, Blackwater led, 39-35.
Troy Rosario led Blackwater with 20 points, while Ilagan shone with 15 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds. Christian David added 13 points as Blackwater went up to 2-0.
Calvin Oftana had 21 points, while Jayson Castro posted 12 points for TNT which slipped to 1-1.
