Kaye Abad loves being a housewife.
On “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” Friday, the actress was asked what life’s like in Cebu, where she is currently based.
“Housewife, and I love it,” Kaye answered quickly, beaming with a smile.
She shared her simply daily routine: Prepare breakfast for her kids, work out, cook lunch, shower, pick up kids from school, have lunch, nap. Then she brings her kids to the park, and then cook dinner.
“I love it,” Kaya repeated, saying she would go to the grocery by herself. “Wala akong driver so I drive,” she added.
The actress moved to Cebu, where her husband, Paul Jake Castillo, is based and where they are raising their two sons, Joaquin and Iñigo.
It’s a simple life, Kaye continued, adding she married into a family who is “not into a lavish [lifestyle].”
She appeared on the talk show to promote her movie “A Journey,” which starts streaming on Netflix Friday.
According to Kaye, she didn’t really leave showbiz. “Kung umalis ako, wala ako ngayon dito. Hindi na ko magpipilikula,” she said.
“Duon lang ako nag-base sa Cebu. Pag may trabaho, gagawin ko,” Kaye said, adding her husband doesn’t really stop her from doing what she wants.
“Hindi niyo ko pinipigilan,” she said, while admitting she might have given the impression she’s retired from showbiz because”mMarami akong natatanggihan.”
In the same interview, Kaye talked about Chito Miranda and remaining friends with her exes, and admitted John Lloyd Cruz was the most different ex to move on from.
