Jay Arcilla reveals he got into trouble with the barangay in his youth

Jay Arcilla revealed that he once got into trouble with the barangay authorities during his younger years.

On Wednesday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” the Sparkle actor said he got involved with troubled kids back then, which resulted in bad encounters.

“Noong kabataan ko, napasama ako sa trouble, mga kabataan,” he said. “Kakulitan ko noong bata ako.”

When asked what he learned from that experience, Jay said it didn’t contribute anything good to his life.

“Walang maitutulong sa sarili ko kung doon ako lalaki sa mga ganong gawain,” he said.

“And that time, naisip ko sakit ng ulo lang nabibigay ko sa magulang ko,” he added. “Wala siya naitulong sa buhay ko that time.”

Jay currently appears in GMA’s top-rating afternoon series, “Makiling,” which stars Elle Villanueva and Derrick Monasterio.

He previously appeared in “Start-Up PH,” “Legal Wives,” “Anak ni Waray vs. Anak ni Biday,” “Love of My Life,” and more.
