Gilas Pilipinas dominated Chinese Taipei, 106-53, on Sunday at the Philsports Arena to sweep the first window of the FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers.
The win came after the Philippines took down Hong Kong, 94-64, on Thursday.
The nationals limited the visitors to just 14 points or less in all four quarters, with Gilas taking the lead 52-27 at the end of the first half.
Justin Brownlee made a remarkable return to play in the country and had a double-double outing of 26 points and 13 rebounds on top of five assists, two blocks a steal. Kai Sotto also made arena his playground as he had 18 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and three blocks. Calvin Oftana had 13 points, Carl Tamayo tallied 11 markers, while Kevin Quiambao had 10 points.

Only Cheng Liu scored in double digits for Chinese Taipei with 13 points.
Gilas and New Zealand both have two wins in Group B, while Chinese Taipei and Hong Kong both have two losses.
The Philippines will continue their campaign on November when they play New Zealand and Hong Kong for the second window of the Asia Cup Qualifiers.
