THE dangers of dioxin were discussed in a waste-to-energy technology forum recently organized by the Ilocos Norte-based Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) in partnership with Japanese company Mitsubishi Heavy Industry (MHI) Power IDS Co.
The lecture held at the university’s Center for Flexible Learning in Batac City was anchored on the theme “Solution and Dioxins Removal Technology: Japan’s Successful Waste Disposal Practices.” It was led by Shuji Makiura, an MHI Power IDS consultant and an expert in the power industry, power generation and waste-to-energy technology.
