The Creamline Cool Smashers and the Cignal HD Spikers swept their respective foes in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference on Thursday at the Philsports Arena.
Creamline swept the Galeries Tower High Risers, 25-22, 25-17, 25-15, as Michele Gumabao posted 10 points, while Tots Carlos had nine points. Ysa Jimenez had 11 points, while Roma Doromal had nine points for Galeries which remained winless in three games.
Cignal also won in straight sets against the Nxled Chameleons, 25-21, 25-17, 25-21, with Ces Molina posting 14 points for the HD Spikers. Jho Maraguinot had 11 points for the Chameleons which went down to 3-0.
Both Creamline and Cignal improved to 3-0, making them tied with the Choco Mucho Flying Titans.
