Filipino Olympian and gymnast Carlos Yulo bagged the bronze medal in the floor exercise finals of the FIG Apparatus World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan on Saturday.
Yulo finished third with a score of 14.366 behind Yahor Sharamkou (14.933) and Japan’s Minami Kazuki (14.666).

Aside from Yulo, Levi Ruivivar and Emma Malabuyo also advanced to the finals of the women’s uneven bars and floor exercise, respectively.
The World Cup series serves as a qualification pathway to the 2024 Paris Olympics. Only the top two athletes per apparatus, based on the Olympic Qualification World Cup Ranking List, will be allotted slots to the Summer Games in Paris.
