‘All-Out Sundays’ to kick-off 4-week ‘summerversary’ this weekend

“All-Out Sundays” is kicking off its grand “summerversary” this weekend, and viewers should watch out for surprises and exciting performances prepared by Sparkle stars.

According to Lhar Santiago’s report on “24 Oras,” Wednesday, four teams will compete in the anniversary special, headed by Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz, Miguel Tanfelix and Ysabel Ortega, Ken Chan and Rita Daniela, and Sanya Lopez and Derrick Monasterio.

For Team Sanya and Derrick, they’re still keeping their concept under wraps.

“Basta ang hinighlight lang namin ng team is ‘yung mga strength ng isa’t isa,” Derrick said, adding that the roles assigned to them just fit well.

Meanwhile, Sanya said that she’s proud of Derrick as a team leader.

“May moment na during their meeting na lang, may taping po kasi ako kaya siya ang nandoon representative, tapos sabi niya sa akin agad, ‘Sanya, ang ganda nung team natin.’ Tapos excited siya agad,” she said.

Special guests, including SB19, are also set to join the fun.

Aside from “All-Out Sundays,” Sanya is working on her upcoming series, “Pulang Araw.”

She will also reprise her role as Danaya in “Sang’gre.”

Meanwhile, Derrick is starring in “Makiling” opposite Elle Villanueva. It marks their return to GMA Afternoon Prime following “Return to Paradise.”
