If you dream of flying, the experience is not too out of reach.
In Magalang, Pampanga, there’s a premiere recreational flying club that offers an ultralight flying experience that you’re bound to never forget.
“Unang Hirit” host and weatherman Anjo Pertierra took to the skies, as seen in a report on Friday.
According to the report, the Angeles City Flying Club charges P4,000 to P6,000 per person.
Sport pilot Charles Kevin Henzon accompanied Anjo, but first things first — safety!
Charles explained that they have to wear headphones and eye gear to prevent damage in the ears, and because the wind can be too strong for the eyes to handle. He also taught Anjo the hand signals for ‘okay’ and ‘go back.’
They then rose around 800 feet in the sky, and Anjo was even allowed to pilot the aircraft for a short while. He was also able to enjoy the view of Mt. Arayat and Pampanga River.
Once they landed back on the ground, Anjo said, “Iba sa pakiramdam, sobrang surreal, tapos sobrang nakakaexcite. Ibang klase ‘pag nasa taas ka.”
“Sobrang ganda tignan kapag iba ang point of view mo, mas lalo na kung nasa ultralight aircraft ka kaya naman panalo itong experience na to,” he added. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
