As Muslim Filipinos mark the end of the month-long fasting or Ramadan, Vice President Sara Duterte on Wednesday reminded them to be humble, forgiving, and to deepen their faith.
In her Eid’l Fitr message, Duterte said the Muslim community’s dedication and faith give inspiration to everyone.
(The end of Ramadan reminds us to be humble, forgiving, and deepen our faith. May we continue to put into practice the lessons of the Qur’an and Prophet Muhammad, and promote goodness to others.)
Despite the differences, the Vice President also emphasized the importance of unity, respect, and love for the country.
