Truck driver, helper die after getting electrocuted in Batangas

The driver of a dump truck and his helper were killed after they were electrocuted in Taysan, Batangas.

According to the report on “Saksi” by Paul Hernandez of GMA Regional TV Balitang Southern Tagalog, the driver was fixing the rig’s dump box when he hit a live wire.

His helper went to pull him but was also electrocuted.

“Noong ini-angat po niya ‘yung dump box nu’ng truck, tumama po siya sa live wire, kasi madilim po,” said Taysan chief of police Polce Major Mickglo Mariñas.

“Hindi po napansin ng driver natin na ‘yun po ‘yung naging rason kung bakit po siya nakuryente,” he added.

Meanwhile, a lawyer and his passenger were hurt after their car turned turtle in Baler, Aurora.

According to the report on “Saksi” by Paul Hernandez of GMA Regional TV Balitang Southern Tagalog, the lawyer lost control of the car after he spilled coffee on himself while driving.
