Decorated Filipina volleyball ace Tots Carlos is looking to strut her stuff overseas as the three-time PVL MVP threw her name into the 2024 Korean V-League Women’s Asian Quota Draft.
Carlos, who currently suits up for the Creamline Cool Smashers, was among the three Filipinas included in the list of applicants announced by KOVO on Monday alongside Mylene Paat of Chery Tiggo and MJ Phillips.
Carlos is eyeing to make her first-ever international stint after years of fueling the Cool Smashers, whom she helped capture four titles and three runner-up finishes in the PVL while also grabbing numerous individual awards.
Paat, meanwhile, previously saw action with Nakhonratchasima in the Volleyball Thailand League in 2021 before returning home to bolster the Crossovers, leading the squad to the title during the 2021 PVL Open Conference.
Paat is hoping to get drafted this time around after she, alongside Jia De Guzman, Dindin Santiago-Manabat, Majoy Baron, and Iris Tolenada, went undrafted last year.
Phillips is also looking to book a return trip to the Korean league just weeks after wrapping up her stint with the Gwangju Al Peppers, who selected her fifth overall in the past draft.
