Shuvee Etrata on summer flings: “It won”t last. So you might as well take care of your heart’

Shuvee Etrata is not a fan of summer flings.

In an exclusive interview with GMA News Online, the Sparkle artist said she doesn’t believe in relationships that are kind of “fleeting,” adding she is someone who has a mindset of dating to marry. 

“Date to marry ako,” Shuvee told GMA News Online. “I don’t like a love that is kind of fleeting.”

Of course, Shuvee said it will always depend on people, whether or not they want to engage in summer flings, but it’s not the case for her as she believes that it’s just a “short-term” relationship. 

“For me, it’s a short-term. It won’t last. So you might as well take care of your heart than breaking it,” she said. 

When asked if she ever tried to engage in summer flings, the Cebuana actress, who is a proud NBSB answered: “I never had. Wala talaga!” 

Shuvee was recently launched as a member of Sparkle 10, a select group of female Sparkle artists, who are empowered, self-assured and confident.

She starred in GMA Network’s drama series “Hearts On Ice” with Xian Lim and Ashley Ortega.
