Chery Tiggo pulled off a stunning win against defending champs Creamline, 25-18, 26-24, 25-23, on Saturday in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
Eya Laure had 14 points, while Cza Carandang had 12 points in the Crossovers’ sweep as they improved to 3-2.
Jema Galanza had 13 points, while Tots Carlos had 12 points as the Cool Smashers slipped to 4-1.
The win snapped Creamline’s 19-game winning streak since the 2023 Second All-Filipino Conference,
Meanwhile, the Galeries Tower High Risers outlasted the Capital1 Solar Spikers, 17-25, 25-20, 20-25, 25-19, 15-10, for their first win in the conference.
Roma Joy Doromal had 14 points, while Shola Alvarez had 12 points for the High Risers, while Patty Orendain led Capital1 with 19 points. Both teams are now at 1-4.
The Akari Chargers (2-3), on the other hand, swept the Nxled Chameleons (1-4), 25-17, 25-19, 25-20.
