Converge took down TNT, 107-103, as it wrapped its campaign in the PBA Philippine Cup and the league’s 48th season on Wednesday at the Philsports Arena.
Aljun Melecio top-scored the FiberXers with 17 points, while Bryan Santos and Justin Arana chipped in 15 points apiece as Converge closed its conference with two wins and nine losses.
In the previous Commissioner’s Cup, Converge had a win and ten losses.
The win spoiled Calvin Oftana’s 33-point, 12-rebound outing and RR Pogoy’s 29-point performance for TNT which slipped to 5-5.
TNT will still have to face the Magnolia Hotshots on Sunday.
