Beau Belga registered his first career triple-double as the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters took down the Converge FiberXers, 110-90, on Wednesday in the PBA Philippine Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Belga posted 25 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists to become the first local Rain or Shine player to achieve the feat and oldest player in the league at 37 to record a triple-double since Ramon Fernandez’ triple-double in 1992 which he had at 38 years old.

Donning the retro Welcoat Dragons jersey, Rain or Shine pulled away in the second half as it closed the third period with a 75-63 advantage before leading by as much as 24, 110-86, with 1:27 left in the final frame.

Aside from Belga, Santi Santillan and Andrei Caracut also logged double-doubles, with the former having 23 points and 11 rebounds. Caracut, meanwhile, had 15 points and 13 assists as the Elasto Painters improved to 2-4. Shaun Ildefonso also had a career-high in his 15-point outing.

Justin Arana had 20 points and nine rebounds as Converge remained winless in six games.
