Barangay Ginebra survived TNT, 87-83, to extend its winning streak to three on Friday in the PBA Philippine Cup at the Philsports Arena.
Ginebra led by as much as 21, 37-16, early in the second period before the game was tied at 41 at the half.
Ginebra had the lead, 83-75, with 2:34 left in the fourth period before the Tropang Giga made an 8-0 and tied the game with 1:17 left.
Scottie Thompson drilled a triple before a Japeth Aguilar split sealed the deal for Ginebra.
Japeth Aguilar and Christian Standhardinger both registered double-doubles, with the former posting 20 points and 10 boards, while the latter had 20 points and 15 rebounds as Ginebra improved to 6-3.
Roger Pogoy and Calvin Oftana chipped in 19 points apiece for TNT which slipped to 4-4.
