DPWH starts Magallanes flyover weekend repair
(UPDATE) THE Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) on Friday started the repair of the Magallanes-EDSA flyover northbound lanes.
In an advisory, the DPWH-Metro Manila 2nd District Engineering Office said the repair of the flyover's Lanes 1 and 2 will be done every weekend until June.
The repair will cover the removal and installation of a finger-type expansion joint, application of paint for steel and concreting activity, requiring partial closure of the affected portions of the flyover from Pasay City to Cubao in Quezon City.
The DPWH will also maximize the Holy Week holidays from April 16 to 21 to continue the road repairs.
It advised motorists to reduce speed near the affected areas, and to use alternate routes and adjacent lanes.
The DPWH also provided alternate routes for the safety and convenience of the riding public, which is available by scanning the QR code or visiting this Google Map link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/EEz8om3BBXnndsKz5.
