The NorthPort Batang Pier on Thursday activated Zavier Lucero in lieu of John Amores for the PBA Philippine Cup.
Amores was relegated to the team’s injured/reserved list.
Lucero was drafted fifth overall in last year’s PBA Rookie Draft.
The University of the Philippines product tore his ACL back in 2022 and had his operation and rehabilitation in the United States.
Lucero will make his debut for NorthPort when they face the NLEX Road Warriors on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
