Some of our favorite Kapuso series can now be streamed on Viu Philippines soon!
Starting February 26, “Lolong,” “Widow’s Web,” and “First Yaya” will be available via the streaming platform.
“Lolong,” which was named most watched TV show in 2022 in the Philippines, starred Kapuso Action Drama Prince Ruru Madrid.
It was inspired by the ideas of award-winning broadcast journalist and GMA News pillar Jessica Soho and Assistant Vice President for GMA Public Affairs LJ Castel.
“Widow’s Web” was a murder mystery series, which starred Carmina Villarroel, Vaness del Moral, Ashley Ortega, and Pauline Mendoza as Barbara, Hillary, Jackie, and Elaine, respectively. It also featured Ryan Eigenmann as Xander and Christian Vasquez as Boris, among other actors.
Meanwhile, “First Yaya” starred Gabby Concepcion and Sanya Lopez. The romantic comedy series followed the story of Melody Reyes (Sanya), a high-spirited and diligent woman from a humble background. The sole breadwinner of the household, Melody strives to provide for her family despite the numerous adversities life throws at her.
