Katrina Halili is thankful for the love and support of her family after the loss of her boyfriend Jeremy Guiab.
“Mahirap. Hindi ako makasalita, mahirap. Ganun talaga,” the actress said in Cata Tibayan’s report on “24 Oras,” Thursday.
Guiab, 53, succumbed to a heart attack in her home on January 28.
“Bigla na lang tumutulo [ang luha], ganoon. Pero buti na lang busy ako tapos ‘yung family ko nandiyan, they support me. May work naman ako, may mga kaibigan ko, medyo nalilibang pero hindi pa rin naman mawawala, maiiyak ka talaga,” Katrina said.
Katrina said that she and Jeremy were together for three years.
“Kaya mahirap kasi three years kaming halos magkasama kami palagi. Hindi kami naghihiwalay. Tapos sobrang okay ‘yung relationship namin eh, para kaming magkaibigan din ganoon, best friends ganoon. Meron ding tumutulong sa akin with Katie, sinasaway din niya ‘yung mga ugali kong hindi maganda,” she said.
Katrina said she is drawing strength from Katie, her daughter with ex-boyfriend, singer Kris Lawrence.
“Kung wala siguro akong Katie, baka nangangangawa lang ako. Kailangan magpaka-strong din ako. ‘Puwede ba, Katie, ‘pag sinabi ni mama na nami-miss ko si Tito Jeremy,’ sabi ko. ‘Puwede mo bang i-hug ako? Tapos sabihin mo andito lang ako,’” she said.
“Tapos dinugtungan pa niya. Sabi niya, ‘Nandito lang ako mama forever, I love you,’ gumano’n. Lalo naman akong naiyak, na-touch naman ako,” Katrina said. — Carby Basina/BM, GMA Integrated News
