Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo share excitement for new movie with sweet video

The real-life Kapuso couple posted a sweet Instagram video to share their excitement for “Everything About My Wife.”

With the sun setting in the background, DenJen shared sweet kisses. The text, “May bagong movie kami!!! Yeah hey!” flashed on screen, with “Everything About My Wife” shown after.

Dennis said in his caption, “Gagawa kami ng movie ng asawa ko after 14 years!”

“Everything About My Wife” is a romantic comedy, and a Philippine adaptation of an Argentinian film. It is about a couple who always argue. Sam Milby will join the Kapuso stars.

The film will be Dennis and Jennylyn’s first project together as husband and wife. The couple, who got married in 2021, last worked together in the historical-drama film “Rosario” in 2010, and the anthology series “I Can See You: Truly, Madly, Deadly” in 2020.

Jennylyn’s comeback series “Love. Die. Repeat,” aired its finale on Wednesday.

She also announced in 2023 that she is working on a new album, and got fans excited when she posted a photo of her recording session.

Meanwhile, Dennis is set to play his first major kontrabida role in the biggest historical drama of the year, “Pulang Araw.”
