Former first lady Imelda Marcos is expected to be discharged from the hospital on Tuesday, Senator Imee Marcos said Monday.

“Mabuti naman at inaasahan namin na makalabas bukas kasi wala ng lagnat,” Imee said in an interview over Super Radyo dzBB.

While the Marcos matriarch is no longer experiencing fever, Imee said her mother still has pneumonia.

“Kaya lang may pneumonia pa rin…wala ng lagnat kaya okay naman,” she said.

[She still has pneumonia but no more fever, so she’s okay.]

Last Tuesday, Senator Marcos, the eldest child of Imelda, disclosed that her mother was taken to a hospital due to suspected pneumonia.

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. late last week said that his mother is already recovering and “feeling much better.”

“My mother is feeling much better,” the President said in a social media post upon arriving from Australia.

“I visited her last night after arriving from Melbourne and she was awake, alert, and even up at midnight,” he said.
