Former first lady Imelda Marcos has already been discharged from the hospital on Wednesday, Senator Imee Marcos said on Thursday.
“[N] akalabas na kahapon… Some oral medications nalang [and] rest at home,” Marcos said in a text message to reporters.
(She was released yesterday. She’s still taking oral medication and was told to rest at home.)
The Marcos matriarch was taken to a hospital last week due to suspected pneumonia.
Recently, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. said his mother is getting better and is scheduled to come out on Thursday as she suffered from “slight pneumonia.”
President Marcos added that his mother’s fever was gone. He said the doctors wanted her to stay in the hospital until her course of antibiotics was finished. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
