Filipino Olympic gold medalist and weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz celebrated International Women’s Day on Friday.

In a post, the Olympian emphasized the strength of being a woman.

“In honor of Women’s Day, let’s repeat: Babae Ako and we can do anything we set our minds to. Kaya Natin,” she wrote.

“Remember your strength this International Women’s Day.”

Her husband and trainer Julius Naranjo also celebrated Diaz’ achievement.

“Thank you for what you do, Hidilyn Diaz, you remind me everyday to value myself, to continue to be kind, and to fight for what’s right,” Naranjo wrote.

Diaz is eyeing for another stint in the upcoming Paris Olympics.
