Flash flood hits Baguio after heavy rain, some cars swamped

A flash flood hit parts of Baguio City after a downpour caused by a thunderstorm on Wednesday.

According to a report on “State of the Nation,” Baguio City Mayor Benjamin 

Magalong said trash clogged the drainage of the City Camp Lagoon.

The flood reportedly reached as high as seven feet.

Fourteen vehicles were affected by the flood as they were parked in the siltation area of the lagoon.

The barangay council temporarily allowed parking in the area as part of a campaign against road obstructions. —NB, GMA Integrated News
