The Choco Mucho Flying Titans and the PLDT High Speed Hitters won their respective campaign openers in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference on Thursday at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan.
Choco Mucho swept the Nxled Chameleons, 25-12, 25-22, 25-18, with Sisi Rondina posting 17 points. Kat Tolentino added 12 points, while Cherry Rose Nunag had 10 points for the Flying Titans.
Earlier, PLDT made quick work of Galeries Tower High Risers, 25-22, 25-6, 25-9.
Savannah Davision had 19 points while Jules Samonte had 15 points for the High Speed Hitters.
The PVL will return to action on Saturday with a triple-header as Chery Tiggo takes on the Strong Group Athletics, followed by a faceoff between Cignal and Akari, with Creamline and Farm Fresh capping the match day.
