Celia Rodriguez knows many directors don’t like her.

On Friday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” the veteran actress shared a conversation she had with one, where she straightforwardly expressed her desire to never work with them again.

“I have been directed by a person na—almost all directors that I worked with, [sasabihin] ‘Susunod direk ha?’ ‘Susunod manay ha?’ But I had a director in Seiko Films, I will not share the name, ‘pag alis namin from Mindoro coming home, I said, ‘Direk, sandali,’ she said.

“Oh ano na naman, tita?” She recalled the unnamed director asking her.

Celia continued, “You know what my greatest wish as an actress is? I hope to God I will never work with you again. I used the word never. Told him that.”

According to Celia, she’s pretty vocal to directors when it comes to scripts that are too long.

“Kung bobo, sinasabihan ko. Hindi ko sinasabing ‘bobo ka,’ ano?” she said.

Instead, she would say, “Direk, sandali. Eh bakit ang haba-haba? Eh ang ibig lang naman sabihin eh maligo ka, period. Bakit meron pang sabon, may duster? Hindi ba understood?”

Celia said that the director would then understand and realize her point.

“That’s one thing they have in Hollywood. It is understood,” she said.

Celia previously worked on “Stolen Life,” which starred Carla Abellana, Beauty Gonzalez, and Gabby Concepcion.
