MANILA, Philippines — This is the perfect time to reflect on and recalibrate your life choices. It can also be a suitable moment to renew your way into wellness.
Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray knows too well how one’s well-being affects an individual. Catriona graced the launch of K Essentials by Katinko last March 11 in Robinsons Magnolia.
Host Robi Domingo sat down with the beauty queen, known for espousing Filipino weaves and designs, which were present as the brand’s partner community suppliers, such as the Ayta Abellen, T’boli and Inabel weavers.
Asked by Robi about the subject of well-being, the always articulate Catriona poured forth her thoughts:
“I think just finding things that work for you, it means a lot.
“Because we all live different lives. Some of us are super busy, wala na oras sa schedule, or some of us work from home. So it’s just finding, I guess, routines or good habits that work for you, whether it be going outside for a walk, or taking a few minutes to, you know, just breathe in and out a nice oil, whatever works for you.
“And then in terms of radiating positive energy, I think it’s just loving what you do. I know that it might be hard because some of us might be in jobs that are like, ‘I hate my job.’ Or ‘I’m stressed today,’ or ‘I don’t like my work,’ or whatever. But I think there’s always something to be grateful for. In like the worst situations, there’s always a silver lining.
“There’s always something to be grateful for. No, there’s always something to be grateful for talaga. Even if it’s as simple as I have food on my table, I have a roof above my head. There are always blessings to be seen. We just need to look for them. And once you’re able to outweigh what you see that you are blessed with, you can count your blessings, the negative things seem smaller,” said Catriona.
