Former two-division Marlon Tapales will vie for the WBC Asian Continental super bantamweight title in his ring return against Thailand’s Nattapong Jankaew on May 10 at Midas Hotel and Casino in Pasay City.

Tapales, 37-4 with 19 knockouts, is coming off a super bantamweight undisputed showdown against Japanese superstar Naoya Inoue last December where he put up a gallant fight before losing via knockout in round 10.

His opponent, Nattapong, is 12-3 with 8 knockouts as a boxer and is coming off a first-round knockout last March 30. His ten-round bout with Tapales will be his first fight overseas.

In the co-main event, bantamweight contender Reymart Gaballo will take on Kenbun Torres in a stay busy contest. Gaballo, 27-1 with 22 knockouts, last saw action in the same venue this past February where he won via first-round knockout over Phai Pharob.
