As part of efforts to beat the heat, a firefighter put together an ice box, an exhaust fan, and a few pieces of ice to come up with a Do-It-Yourself (D.I.Y.) air cooler, Jamie Santos reported on “Saksi.”
Fire Officer 3 Ryan Dalumpines said that the electric fan he uses felt like it was blowing fire instead of cool air because of the extremely warm weather.
Dalumpines then decided to come up with a DIY air cooler that emits cool air for up to four hours.
However, he warns that similar contraptions should be placed in areas where the children cannot reach it to avoid untoward incidents.
“Ilagay lang siya sa safe na lugar na hindi basta-basta matabig or maano ng mga bata,” said Dalumpines.
“Paalala lang, kasi tubig at kuryente, bantayan at huwag pabayaan lalo na sa mga bata,” he added. — BAP, GMA Integrated News
