Apart from ‘Rewind,’ Netflix to start streaming ‘GomBurZa’ and other MMFF movies in April

In a press release, the streaming giant said it is one of several MMFF 2023 movies that will be made available on Netflix month.
Pokwang and Eugene Domingo’s “Becky and Baddette” will start streaming on April 4, while “Kampon,” starring Beauty Gonzales and Derek Ramsay will be released on April 18.
Meanwhile, another three MMFF movies are set to be released in June: Alden Richards and Sharon Cuneta’s “Family of Two” will premiere on June 1, Matteo Guidicelli’s “Penduko” will be released on June 7, while “Mallari” starring Piolo Pascual will start streaming on June 21.
Previously, Netflix announced that “Rewind,” starring real-life married couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes, is coming to Netflix starting March 25.
Directed by acclaimed filmmaker, “GomBurZa” follows the lives of the three Filipino martyr priests Mariano Gomez, Jose Burgos, and Jacinto Zamora who were executed during the latter years of the Spanish colonial era in the Philippines.
The movie is top-billed by Cedric Juan, who won the MMFF 2023 Best Actor trophy.
