Filipina tennis ace Alex Eala promised to bounce back after her exit from the Miami Open last Tuesday.

Eala fell to Colombian Emiliana Arango, 2-6, 7-5, 6-1, in the qualifiers for the main draw. Prior to this, the Filipina ace won against Sara Errani of Italy, 6-3, 6-1.

“I am disheartened to say the least, that I had to finish the match being wheeled off the court,” Eala wrote on her post as she referred to her cramps.

“Nevertheless, I take pride in the fact that I fought until the end. I leave here on a positive note and will be back at 100% in a few days. I definitely still have so much more to give and will be back stronger and more experienced,” she added.

Eala is currently ranked no. 171 by the Women’s Tennis Association.
