Marina Summers stuns in her version of Catriona Gray”s lava gown in ‘Drag Race UK vs. the World’
Here’s some more Filipina representation from Marina Summers!
On this week’s episode of “RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs. the World,” the Filipina drag queen showcased a look inspired by Catriona Gray’s iconic lava gown.
The dress, also made by Mak Tumang, was revealed after Marina took off her structured volcano outer dress by Job Dacon on the runway.
Marina’s take on the lava gown was completed with a headpiece by jewelry designer Manny Halasan.
Marina is the only Asian representative in the show this season. She is also the first drag queen to represent the Philippines in an international edition of the Emmy Award-winning original series.
She made an unforgettable entrance on the show with a stunning Filipiniana look.
Previously, she also amazed the judges with her performance of “AMAFILIPINA,” her version of Maymay Entrata’s “Amakabogera.”
Following the episode, Marina released the talent show version and an extended version of “AMAFILIPINA” on Spotify.
The winner of “Drag Race UK vs. The World” will win 50,000 pounds.
