Volleyball player Aduke Ogunsanya has been diagnosed with a knee injury which will require her to undergo surgery and rehabilitation, the Choco Mucho Flying Titans announced on Saturday.

In a statement, the team said Ogunsanya sustained the injury during Choco Mucho’s match against the Nxled Chameleons last February 22, 2024 which the Flying Titans won in straight sets. She will be out for 9-12 months for recovery and rehabilitation.

“We are disheartened by this unfortunate development, considering Aduke had just fully recovered from her previous injury and is making a strong return. We are, however, confident in her resilience and spirit to overcome this challenge once again,” the Flying Titans said in a statement.

“Management will provide Aduke with the best possible treatment and medical attention to ensure that she will be back with the team at the appropriate time, stronger than ever before.”

The Flying Titans are currently 3-0 in the ongoing PVL All-Filipino Conference.
