Planning on making a summer escapade soon?
If you’re looking for places to visit, here are four spots in Basilan and Benguet you can check out, as seen in JP Soriano’s report on “24 Oras,” Wednesday.
1. Bulingan Falls
For those searching for refreshing and clean water, you may visit the Bulingan Falls in Lamitan City, Basilan. Cottages are also available around the area, where visitors can take a break and wind down.
2. Maarena Beach
At Maarena Beach, guests will be greeted by its clear water and white sand. As the Gen Z term would say, it’s “giving” Boracay and Palawan vibes.
3. Tulip Garden
Still in Lamitan City, 30,000 tulips made from recycled materials at the Tulip Garden make the perfect background for your IG photos.
4. La Trinidad, Benguet
Meanwhile in Benguet, 10,000 cupcakes made from different strawberry kinds will be showcased on March 17. The best part is that these cupcakes are going to be for sale at an affordable price, making them perfect for sharing or gifting.
“Iniimbitahan po namin kayo na pumunta dito sa La Trinidad since ngayon ang Strawberry Festival namin. Nandito po kami sa Municipal Park,” strawberry farmer Anielyn Tiongan said.
