LINGAYEN, Pangasinan, Philippines — Two men died while two others were injured in separate accidents involving motorcycles in Calasiao and Binmaley towns in this province on Sunday.
Aristotle Zarate, 31, and Charles Noah Lazo, 27, were declared dead on arrival at the Region 1 Medical Center in Dagupan City.
James Aquino, 26, and his passenger Shirley Calimlim, 51, were taken to the same hospital for treatment of injuries.
Investigation showed Zarate was on a motorcycle when he sideswiped a car driven by Marlon Katubig in Barangay Ambonao in Calasiao.
Zarate lost control of the wheel, causing the motorcycle to swerve until it was hit by another motorcycle driven by Aquino.
Meanwhile, Lazo was traveling along MacArthur Highway in Barangay Biec, Binmaley when his motorcycle crashed into a truck parked along the road.
