The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has arrested a woman for allegedly offering up her own children for online sexual exploitation.

According to John Consulta’s “24 Oras” report on Tuesday, the NBI also rescued the suspect’s two daughters, aged 11 and 13 years old, and an eight-year-old neighbor during the operation.

The woman’s arrest stemmed from materials obtained from a suspect in another country and provided to the NBI by their foreign counterparts. Similar materials were found on the suspect’s gadget.

(Our counterparts identified that the children in the materials are Filipinos. They also found the videos and photos were from the Philippines.)

(We saw various child sexual exploitation materials involving her children and other younger relatives.)

The woman admitted to the accusations, saying: “Pag ayaw naman ng mga anak ko, di ko naman sila pinapakita.”

(I do not show my children whenever they don’t want to.)

She is now facing charges of violating the Anti-Online Sexual Exploitation and Abuse Act, Child Abuse, as well as Sexual Abuse.

(The NBI will continue our intensive campaign against cybercrime. This is in accordance with the President’s instructions.) — Sundy Locus/BM, GMA Integrated News
