Tiongson, Holt tow Terrafirma for first win vs Converge

Juami Tiongson and Stephen Holt towed the Terrafirma Dyip past the Converge FiberXers, 107-99, to open their campaign in the PBA Philippine Cup on Friday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Tiongson posted 30 points, while Holt had 27 points in the Dyip’s first win against the Converge franchise. 

The Dyip first led by 23, 50-27, at the 3:56 mark of the second period before they ended the first half with a 56-44 advantage.

Holt also had 10 rebounds, five steals, and four assists, while Isaac Go had 13 points. Gelo Alolino and Javi Gomez de Liaño chipped in 10 points apiece.

Alec Stockton and Justin Arana had 18 points each, while Schonny Winston added 17 points for Converge.
