Tinambacan Half Marathon 2024 in Western, Samar

Set to take place on the 5th of May, 2024, the Tinambacan Half Marathon is a festive running event marking the fiesta celebrations of Barangay Tinambacan in Calbayog City, Western Samar. This energizing event offers participants the opportunity to compete in three distances: 5 kilometers, 10 kilometers, and the titular half marathon distance of 21 kilometers. Organized by Wolverines Events in collaboration with the Rayandayan Family, the marathon not only aims to celebrate the local fiesta but also to encourage community fitness and camaraderie.

As runners traverse through the scenic Barangay Tinambacan, they will be greeted by the cheers of the local community. Participants in the event will receive a package that includes a race singlet, bib, a medal, and for the 10K and 21K distances, a finisher’s shirt and a certificate. Post-race meals will be provided to replenish the energy of the athletes after their respective runs. Additionally, competitive runners have the chance to win cash prizes, creating an event filled with competitive spirit and festive joy.
